Restoration & Forest Management

The forest supplies water, habitats for wildlife, pollinators, timber, fuel, medicine, food and livelihoods.

For these reasons and many more, we must practice good forest restoration and management. Creating and maintaining healthy, resilient forests is good for all of us. We accomplish this for public and private lands by reducing fuels through project planning, selective thinning and creating hand piles for future burning.

Grayback has helped restore ecological balance through reforestation and mechanical thinning services since 1979.

Our forestry services include tree planting, precommercial thinning, animal damage control, roadside brushing, chipping, mastication, broadcast burning and commercial thinning. We provide well-trained and professional crews delivering quality products to our customers.
